FAQ
1.
When are your next courses starting?
New courses start every month. Contact us to find out when
the next ones are. We only advertise some of our courses on
events lists such as www.UKIslamicEvents.net.
2. How does the
payment process work?
Very
simply, you pay for 1 month's lessons before the start of each month.
You are allowed to miss one lesson every
two calendar months without paying for it as long as you give the
teacher at least one week's notice. Click here for our terms and
conditions for more information.
3. I want to start
half-way through a book. Is this possible?
Yes. We have a lot of ongoing
classes, with students at various levels,
and if we can't fit you into one of these classes we can set up a new
class for you. Click here to contact us and we'll see what we can do.
4.
I can’t make the class time you have advertised –
can I still
study with you?
Definitely. We have a lot of ongoing classes, with students
at various levels. Click here
to contact us and we'll see what we can do.
5.
I want to study a book you haven’t got listed?
We don’t list all the books we teach – the list would be too
long!. Click here to
contact us and we'll see what we can do.
6.
Are books included in the course
price?
No. The course prices do not include the books. This allows
us to keep our prices low, as we know a lot of students already have
bought the books.
We can obtain the books for you and post them to you – we charge cost
price plus postage plus a small admin fee.
7. What happens if I miss a lesson ? Provided you give your teacher at least one week's notice, we allow you to miss a lesson during every two calendar months.
8. Do I need to buy any special
programs or gadgets to join your interactive classroom?
The only thing you need to buy is a microphone and speaker – you can
buy a headset for less than £10. You don’t need anything else to
participate in the lessons
We do strongly advise you buy a webcam so you
can interact better with the teacher.
9.
How do you mark homework?
Most students mainly want to learn how to speak and read
Arabic. Therefore they do not want to practice writing and
all
exercises are done verbally in the class. If you want to write Arabic
as well, you will need to scan in your homework and submit it to the
teacher for marking.
This will be done for free.
10. How do I pay?
You can pay in various ways:
- you can pay via online/telephone banking directly into our bank
account
- we can send you an electronic invoice which you can pay with your
bank card
- or you can pay by going into any HSBC branch and paying into our bank
account.
Once you have taken your two free lessons we will advise you of our
bank details.
